The Kensington Town Hall has undergone a management change from the YMCA back to the City of Melbourne effective from Monday 1 July 2024. From this date, the management of this treasured community site will be managed under City of Melbourne Creative City Team.
The City of Melbourne’s Creative City Team links a wide range of Melbourne-based community arts and cultural groups with thriving creative spaces. Having the team manage the Kensington Town Hall will enable more opportunities for community connections, events and activities.
Importantly, community hire and civic activities will continue, with the added benefit of more activities and events.
