About Active Melbourne
If you are looking to hire spaces for events, classes, meetings and sporting activities, Active Melbourne offers a variety of venues across the City of Melbourne. These spaces are available for commercial, community and private use. We welcome ongoing bookings.
Locations
The Y manages five facility hire venues including Docklands Sports Courts, Flagstaff Gardens Tennis Courts, The Hub at Docklands, Kensington Town Hall and Yarra's Edge Community Space.
This is in addition to a range of recreation centres across the City of Melbourne:
- Carlton Baths;
- Kensington Community Recreation Centre;
- Melbourne City Baths;
- North Melbourne Community Centre;
- North Melbourne Recreation Centre;
- Riverslide Skate Park;
- and Royal Park Golf Course.
Partnership
Active Melbourne venues are owned by the City of Melbourne and managed by YMCA Victoria. At the Y, we understand the needs of our members and visitors. We work with a number of community, sports and government bodies to offer opportunities for all our participants. YMCA is the leader in community and recreation facility management. We aim to provide the best in community care and services.
